And in the harbour there was an enormous crowd and an awful lot of noise, for people were hurrying in all directions: for the ships' captains were calling their sailors bidding them to unload the cargoes from the ships, the merchants were shouting loudly while receiving their cargoes and carrying them to wagons; and yet others, having driven the flocks out [of the ships] were leading them through the roads. And Dikaiopolis, looking at (all) this, was at a loss, wondering what he should do and where he should look for a ship about to sail to Epidaurus; for he saw a great many ships moored at the pier. In the end, they all sat down in a wine-shop and ordered some wine.
