2nd Paragraph

Translation

And a man, who was sitting near Dikaiopolis, stood up and shouted, "Poseidon is angry with us, as it seems. For we're carrying an evil person in the ship, whom it is necessary to throw into the sea." And he inspects those present malignantly. But the old one went up to him and said "Be quiet, man, for you're saying nothing (=you're talking nonsense). For the wind is already abating and the sea is no longer so rough. So sit down and keep quiet." And turning to Philip he said; "Fear nothing, child, for we're presently arriving at Salamis. For we're already sailing through the straits towards the harbour. Look, Dikaiopolis, the straits in which we waited for the barbarians' fleet when, fighting for our freedom, we warded them off from Greece."
