When reading, jot down any not immediately recognizable new word and try to remember:
  • the context you met it in
  • what it makes you think of
  • where or when you would use it.

The more connections you make, the easier remembering becomes.

When you go over the wordlists in your book, don't forget to each time make sure you could use those words in real life. You must know what concepts they stand for. Knowing the translation is not enough, the English word is only one link to the Greek word, and an abstract one at that. You need all the help you can get, and the more connections you make, the easier and more accurate your remembering will be.
