And Myrtle, "what are you saying, o friends? Are the Athenians really organizing a festival? As for me I very much want to see it, what about you, Bee, do you also want to watch? But it isn't possible: for my husband is a hard man; for he is always working and rarely wants to go to the town."

But Bee (objects), "but our father is not very harsh; for it is easy to persuade him" (the little minx). But Myrtle, "don't talk such nonsense but quickly fill your jar; for it is time to return home." And so mother and daughter both quickly fill their water jars and walk home.

But on the way Bee stumbles and drops her jar to the ground and breaks it. So she moans and "alas! - she says - it's not my fault (it never is, is it?), for the jar is big and it's impossible to carry it." And her mother, " what are you saying, o daughter? don't talk nonsense but hurry home and get another jar."

And so Bee for one hurries home, while Myrtle walks on slowly: for her jar is big and she does not want to drop it.
