A few lovely words, like
- κροκοδεῖλοι crocodiles
- ποταμός river (cf riverhorse, sorry hippopotamus)
- ἔκτοπος, ἔκτοπον strange, i.e. 'out' of 'place' ἐκ τοῦ τόπου
- ἔνοικος inhabitants, easy: "inhome" people
- ἡ συμφορά (revision of) misfortune, disaster
- ποῦ γῆς; where on earth? wherever?
- πανταχόσε [running] every which way, in every direction (movement)
