ΚΡΕΑΣ meat

These neuter nouns in -ας look more irregular than they really are:
They take the normal, basic 3rd declension endings.
The genitive should be: τοῦ κρέασος (stem: κρεασ), but the σ disappeared.
So now we get the normal contractions: α + ο as well as α + ω contract to ω ,
 τοῦ κρέαος becomes τοῦ  κρέως
and τῶν κρεάων becomes τῶν κρεν
The regular dative singular ι usually becomes subscript, not αι but  ᾳ .
And α + α contract to long , so the plural will be κρέᾱ. No circumflex, because the emphasis is still on the . No need for change!
 
 
Singular
nominative          τὸ   κρέας    ἀγαθόν ἐστιν.
genitive   τὸ      τοῦ    κρέως     χρῶμα ἐρυθρόν ἐστιν. (colour is red)
dative       τῷ    κρέᾳ     μόσχου δεῖπνον ποιοῦμαι. (of veal)
accusative          κρέας     ὠνοῦμαι ἐν τῇ ἀγορᾷ. (buy in the market)
vocative       ὦ    κρέας,     καλὸν εἶ. (says my dog)
 
Plural
nominative             τὰ  κρέα     καλά ἐστιν.
(fine-looking pieces of meat for sale)
genitive    ἡ    τῶν  κρεῶν     τιμὴ ὑψελή ἐστιν. (price is high)
dative      τοῖς  κρέασι     δεῖπνον ποιοῦμαι.
accusative       τὰ  κρέα   τοῖς κυσὶ διανέμω. (distribute)
vocative       ὦ  κρέα,     may you appease the gods.
