Why? :
- πεπόνηκα
τετίμηκα
πεπλήρωκα ?
- Because the end vowels
-ε -α lengthen to -η and
-ο lengthens to -ω.
- πεφίληκα ? φ corresponds to ph, i.e. aspirated p. Only the first letter π is reduplicated. The letter is reduplicated, not the aspiration.
- τέθραυκα? Same as above, θ, being th, τ is reduplicated, not the aspiration.
- κεχόρευκα? χ represents kh, the letter to be reduplicated is the unaspirated letter κ.
