Translation

So they go on up the hill and when they arrive at the top they see Athens lying below. And Philip, looking at the town says: "Look, how beautiful the town is. Do you see the Acropolis?" And Melitta: "I see it indeed. Do you also see the Parthenon? How beautiful it is and big." And Philip: "But hurry up, daddy; for we are going down towards the town."

here ἑπί requires dative case form τῇ γῇ because it denotes position.

	position in, on, under....	dative case form	ἐν τῷ ἀγρῷ
	origin, movement from, out of	genitive case forms	ἐκ τοῦ ἀγροῦ

ἡ Ἀκρόπολις, τῆς Ἀκροπόλεως 

is declined like ἡ πόλις, τῆς πόλεως 
and ἄκρος, ἄκρα, ἄκρον means high up, top of...

ὁ Παρθενών, τοῦ Παρθενῶνος 

This is a temple dedicated to the patron goddess of Athens, ἡ Ἀθηνᾶ, also called ἡ Παρθένος, τῆς Παρθένου i.e. the Maiden
ἐν τῆ Ἀκροπόλει ὁρῶμεν τὸν Παρθενῶνα, τὸ τῆς Ἀθηνᾶς ἱερόν.
